Character Trait of the Month-Jan 2024 January 2024 Character Trait-Responsible Show Transcript good morning malabaricus missile your school counselor I hope you are all enjoying your morning so far I am so excited to share this month character trait with you and to see you all put the straight into practice so let's begin each month we were reviewing you character trait and your challenge is to practice that trait here in school and at the end of each month once in a classroom will be chosen by their teacher for showing that straight The Chosen did it will be recognized with a certificate from the Press Box at the end of the month I like to start off by saying Happy New Year I hope everyone had a restful break and that you were all ready to learn about this month's character traits let's continue challenging ourselves with new trade every single month and this morning's assembly we talked about responsible a talk about your responsibilities as and how we can practice it the being responsible can be pretty difficult but it is also very important so what is responsibility responsibility is doing the things we are to do classroom finishing her homework doing all the chores that are given to us by our parents I accepting the result of the decision and actions that was make super example I didn't complete my homework I know it's my responsibility student to talk to my teacher and see if I can make it up until turn it in I would have to accept the consequences of my actions because I know I didn't complete my homework here's some other examples I show responsibility when I make a decision practice being honest to school on time every day cleaning up after myself and my area and apologizing when I've done something wrong like maybe for somebody else is doing so now that you know what responsibility is continued practice a responsible student your teachers will be watching and will collect one student shows this character trait throughout January I hope you all have a beautiful rest of your day friend enjoy the rest of your week and practicing time
