Hello! My name is Jocelyne Vargas, and I’m excited to be in my fourth year teaching here at Malabar. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Cal State Northridge (CSUN) and went on to complete my master’s at the University of Southern California (USC). I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and I’ve always had a passion for education and making a positive impact in my community.

I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging classroom where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to learn. Outside of the classroom, I love traveling and hiking—exploring new places and spending time in nature helps me recharge and stay inspired.
